For over ten years, Optit has been supporting Herambiente with OptiWasteFlow, a platform that optimises planning, simulates what-if scenarios and monitors the entire waste flow on three levels: strategic, tactical and operational. The solution is used to create four-year business plans, generate annual budgets and update interim forecasts, incorporating forecasting logic and variance analysis.
Adopting a strategic approach, Optit developed a custom operating module capable of managing individual routes in detail. The system integrates with CRMs, carriers and waste management plants, offering a holistic view of the entire logistics chain. In addition to planning weekly transport logistics, it allows the client to monitor progress and intervene to address potential inefficiencies.
It processes hundreds of thousands of transactions every year, synchronising the actions of the different actors across the supply chain, creating a collaborative environment for the exchange of data and reducing margins of error. The outcome is a measurable increase in efficiency, better use of resources and concrete support for business decisions.
