In the last decade, district heating and cooling has moved from being a technical niche to a cornerstone of Europe\u2019s sustainable urban strategy. Within this evolving context, the Euroheat & Power Congress<\/strong><\/a> has become a key meeting point for institutions, utilities, researchers, and technology providers working to advance the sector.<\/p>\n

After many years of attending as visitors, this is our second year participating as exhibitors<\/strong>, with the aim of sharing our experience<\/a>, exchanging perspectives, and contributing to the broader discussion on the digital and strategic transformation of DHC networks.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be attending the EHP Congress in Prague from June 3 to 5 with a team of three: our CEO Matteo Pozzi<\/strong> and two of our energy consultants, Costanza Giardini<\/strong> and Valerio Di Felice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Matteo Pozzi will also participate in the congress as Chair of DHC+<\/a><\/strong>, the innovation platform of Euroheat & Power, and will moderate the DHC+ General Assembly<\/strong> on June 3 at 1:45 PM<\/strong>. Another key moment will be the session \u201cSkills, baby skills!\u201d<\/strong> on June 5 at 11:15, focusing on how to close the skills gap in the DHC sector \u2013 from education to recruitment. The session will feature Aksana Krasatsenka, Knowledge Transfer Director at Euroheat & Power, representing all Euroheat & Power members in a conversation that highlights effective and real-world solutions.<\/p>\n

<\/h4>\n

Enabling smarter cities through integrated energy systems<\/h4>\n

Heating and cooling account for roughly half of Europe\u2019s total energy demand, with urban areas at the centre of this challenge. District energy systems are a key enabler for the urban energy transition<\/strong>, since they are able to leverage local energy sources<\/strong> \u2013 including renewables and industrial waste heat \u2013, increase efficiency and reduce emissions, while integrating multiple energy vectors and balancing supply and real-time demand.<\/p>\n
